One tap, even half asleep
Every common log is one tap
Home answers one question: what is your baby doing now, and what comes next. Start a nap. Start a feed on the left or the right, and the timer remembers which side was last. Log a bottle at your usual amount. Log a wet or dirty diaper. There are no forms and no “Are you sure?” screens. Tap the wrong thing and Undo puts it right; anything else, swipe the row on the Log tab to edit it later.
- The nap window. How long your baby has been awake and when the next nap is likely, from your baby’s own recent naps. Free.
- Undo, not confirm.Every one-tap log can be undone for a few seconds after you tap it.
- Growth too.Weight and length, whenever you measure.
Made for nights
Your phone, but quieter
In the evening the app turns dark by itself (7 pm to 6 am by default), with a real night palette, not a dimmed one. A running nap or feed sits on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and Woke up, Switch and Done work without unlocking, so you never need Face ID with a baby on your chest. When you need a little light, Soothe turns the whole screen into one: six warm colours, brightness with a swipe, and brown noise, pink noise, rain or a shush with a sleep timer. The sound keeps playing when the screen locks.
- Lock Screen buttons.Woke up, Switch and Done, no unlocking.
- Siri, widget, Control Center.“Start a nap in Belly Birth Baby”, the Awake widget, and Nap, Wet diaper and Nursing controls.
- Night feeds count as night wakes.A feed during the night does not end the night’s sleep.
One log for the family
Nobody has to ask “when was the last feed?”
Invite your partner, a grandparent or a nanny with a six-character code. They install the app, sign in and join. From then on every nap, feed and diaper appears on every phone, with who logged it, and a mistake undone on one phone is undone on all of them. Sharing needs a free account (Sign in with Apple, or a code sent to your email). Tracking on your own needs none.
- Live on every phone.Changes arrive in seconds.
- Who logged what. Each row shows the name of whoever logged it.
- One plan for everyone. If you choose Premium, one subscription covers everyone you invite.
Your data
Yours, on your phone
What you log is stored on your iPhone. Only when you invite a caregiver or join one does your baby’s log sync through our servers in the EU (Amsterdam), so everyone sees the same timeline. Diaper photos never leave the phone that took them. There are no ads, and your baby’s data is never sold. An ad measurement partner (AppsFlyer) learns about installs and a few steps in the app, never anything you log, and you can switch it off in Settings > Privacy. Export everything as CSV, or delete your account, any time. Read the privacy policy.
Questions
Good to know
Is it free?
Tracking is. Logging sleep, feeds, diapers and growth, the nap window, the night light and sounds, sharing, the Lock Screen buttons and export are free, with no time limit and no ads. Premium is optional.
What does Premium cost, and what does it add?
$49.99 a year or $9.99 a month in the US (prices vary by region), with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. It renews automatically until you cancel in your Apple Account settings. It adds week stats, the 14-day sleep pattern, the growth chart, and daily and weekly notes and Ask, which are written on your iPhone and need an iPhone with Apple Intelligence. One subscription covers everyone you invite.
Do I need an account?
Not to track. You need a free account only to share your baby’s log with someone, using Sign in with Apple or a code sent to your email.
Where is my baby’s data?
On your iPhone. If you share the log, it syncs through our servers in the EU (Amsterdam) so everyone you invited sees it. Diaper photos never leave the phone that took them. We never sell data and the app shows no ads. The privacy policy has every detail.
How does sharing work?
Open Settings > Caregivers > Invite a caregiver, sign in, and send the six-character code. The other person installs the app, chooses “I already have an account”, signs in and types the code. Codes work once and last 7 days. You can remove someone at any time; they stop receiving new entries but keep what their phone already had.
Do the Lock Screen buttons really work without unlocking?
Yes. Woke up on a nap, and Switch and Done on a feed, work from the Lock Screen and the Dynamic Island without Face ID. They only log; they never show more than the baby’s first name and the timer.
Is this medical advice?
No. Belly Birth Baby is a tracking tool. The nap window comes from your own logs. Ask your baby’s doctor or health visitor about anything to do with your baby’s health, and contact them or emergency services if something feels wrong.
Can I track twins, pumping or medicine?
Not in this version. It tracks one baby per iPhone, and logs sleep, breast and bottle feeds, solids, diapers and growth.
Is there an Android version?
Not at the moment. Belly Birth Baby is for iPhone, iOS 17 or later, in English.
Can I get my data out, or delete it?
Yes. Settings > Family & data > Export everything (CSV) exports the whole log. If you have an account, Settings > Account > Export my data downloads what our servers hold, and Delete account removes your account from our servers immediately. Swipe any record to delete it; deleting the app removes everything stored on the phone.
